Research

To get where we want to go,
it helps to understand where you are, who you are, and who should join you on the journey

Research can be a formidable tool for advancing equity.

The process, outcomes, and actions surrounding equity-focused research matter. That’s why we focus on asking the right questions and leveraging the growing body of tools to help our clients develop and implement strategy.

Our research aims not only to gather information and gain new insights, but also to develop community leadership, promising partnerships, and actionable opportunities to implement and improve systems change.

Strategy

Strategy is the art and science of determining how to do our best to achieve a goal

We see strategy as an essential component of successful collaboration, a mechanism for communicating intent and informing ongoing and emergent action across interconnected actors

We support our partners in gaining clarity and courage to identify the possibilities for equitable change and assessing priorities from among their options to make wise decisions

We help our partners to build program and policy strategies related to healthy communities and youth development, and to lead healthy, equitable organizational change initiatives

 Action

Action takes many forms — inaction is an act itself

We support our partners in making thoughtful and meaningful actions to support their goals. Together, we consider, assess and address action at the individual, interpersonal, community and systems levels.
